Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

SprintDesk ("we", "us") operates this website. This page explains what information is collected when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to all pages on sprintdesk.uk.

Information we collect

We do not require visitors to create an account to read articles, and we do not ask for your name or contact details to browse. When you read an article, our servers record a simple pageview: which article was opened, the date and time, and the page that referred you (for example, a social media post or a search engine). We do not store your IP address or your name with this record.

If you contact us by email, we keep your message and address only as long as needed to reply.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our own pageview counting does not use cookies. Cookies and similar identifiers may be set by third parties that serve ads on this site, mainly Google. These are used to deliver and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and, where you have agreed, to personalize ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features of other sites may stop working.

Advertising

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Consent for visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland

If you visit from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, we show a consent message provided through Google's certified consent management platform before personalized advertising is used. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link on this site, or by clearing your browser's cookies for sprintdesk.uk.

How we use information

Pageview data is used only to understand which articles are read and to improve our coverage. We do not sell personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information held about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. This includes rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, and, for California residents, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time, and within 30 days where the law requires it.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
